This series of 6 paintings depicts the everyday lives of two friends I got to know in Beirut Lebanon many years ago. Through time and events, they have settled, along with other members of their family, in Concord, New Hampshire.  The lead subjects of the paintings are both professionals – he, a painter, and, she, a poet. These paintings do not show their professional work, but view their lives as an American family that straddles many cultures.
