"Welcome to Asian America" is an exhibition idea originated by a small group of artists and activists at AARW to create art pieces that expressed particularly the variety of feelings and emotions of being an Asian American in America. The concepts were established collectively and the art pieces were works of individual artists. The exhibit was initially shown in Boston Center for the Arts and Cambridge Multicultural Art Center, and subsequently traveled to venues in several colleges and universities.
